Needing to Recount

It is past time for me to catch up on my blessings. What better day than today when I feel weak and tired, want to go home, find out a dear old friend from church has chronic leukemia and could die anytime and I hope and PRAY he waits until I see Him one more time. He is such an amazing man and I am really struggling with this. But you know what . . . God is GOOD! He allowed me to get to know Cloy, to enjoy his big 'ol bear hugs on Sundays. God allowed me a job. He allowed me to realize how much I love and appreciate my family by being away from them for 4 months. He has allowed me to come to Masters and grow deeply. I am blessed!]

131. Getting a hug from a guy friend (don't worry family, he's just a friend) and being able to catch up after the Christmas Concert.

132. Getting a letter from my aunt today. It was SUCH an encouragement, something that I needed and that meant a lot to me. Thank you Aunt Jeanne!

133. Being able to Skype my now 1yr old twins! Man how time flies. It was fun to see their faces again and expressions. Then being able to talk to my dear little Anna again and see her shining face. I also got to skype Harrison and Avery and I am getting SOOOO excited to feel them in my arms, to sing "You are my sunshine" with Avery, to giggle with Harrison, to shower them in hugs, cuddles, fun, and to take pictures of them ;)

134. Being able to go to a friends house for thanksgiving and being showered with love from her family. What a neat godly family that I had the honor of staying with. Being able to make new friends, play with her siblings, a close dutch blitz game (that I should've won ;) ), volleyball match, just talking and so much more fun. It was so nice to be in a family setting and they are the most welcoming, loving family who makes you feel a part of theirs. I miss them greatly and can still hear my 10yr old buddy James, "I'm never gonna see you again" but oh, he so knows that is a lie! Jeremiah gave me a high compliment saying that I reminded him of Jen. Jen is my darling, sweet, encouraging, loving friend who I am so honored to be getting to know more and I am so blessed by her and her friendship.

136. All the inside jokes created at thanksgiving. . . oh the joys :) I laughed SO hard on that trip that there were at least a couple times that tears streamed out of my eyes. Oh i loved it even though it was my obnoxious laugh.

137. A letter from one of the Payne children. Her love and encouragement and willingness to write me a note. It made my day!

138. Getting sick. I know right! The Lord set me down (at a good time class wise) with a fever, migraines, chills, and so on to teach me two big lessons that I needed to learn. I am thankful for it (just wish the migraines would go away!)

139. Leaving a class early to have dinner with a friend and then go shopping. We mainly played around in toy stores and it was seriously the most fun i have ever had in the mall. It was hilarious. It was fun just to walk, talk, hang out and enjoy the car ride together.

140. Jen bringing me dinner while I was sick, Katie bringing me tea and Ronna as well. Just being taken care of while being sick and them confirming that I am loved.

Ba ha ha hang on. I have to tell you a bad yet funny story. So I watched Batman until 2 in the morning with Katie and Amanda (they had to watch it for their philosophy class and I had never seen it) and so I was really tired and it kinda messed the next day up. Well my roommate and I pray together at night and she went first the next night. She had mentioned me going home and I shouted for joy and 1 min later I was no joke asleep. She finished up her prayer and waited for me to continue but I was not moving. She never knew someone to fall asleep that fast. Ha ha, i still can't believe I did that!

141. Being able to go without a coat all day! It is so beautiful!

142. Having a class canceled so I could get a lot of work done. LOVE that feeling!

143. Talking to two friends tonight. They are some of the most caring people I know. Their relationship as siblings is so great! It makes me miss you Danae Marie very much! I am so excited to catch up with my sister and be able to relate again.

144. Having a wing event at Kelly's house and being able to enjoy the beach and the Lord's creation. A weekend to relax!

145. Being surprised when I realized church started 30 min later and was able to sit and read a loud the scripture and how powerful it was and that the Lord spoke to me through that.
